1/8 Momohime PVC

This weeks figure arrived back in august. I took the photos when I unpacked it then promptly forgot about posting them on the blog. This is a really special figure though I would expect no less from Alter, this is a manufacturer who I could by nearly every figure from sight unseen, they never disappoint. The figure is of Momohime the heroine of the game “Muramasa: The Demon Blade” available on the Wii. This figure was sculpted by Tokuho Fukumoto with an amazing attention to detail.  I purchased Momohime from HLJ though as of writing this article the  figure has been listed as discontinued. Most Alter figures seem to have a short run though occasionally the do a reissue.

Packaging for these figures is always amazing and I am generally loath to through the empty boxes out ultimately I collect a few too many empty boxes and have to force myself to throw a few out.

Figure assembly

The figure comes with the option so it can be displayed with the sword sheathed or unsheathed. I like the look of her just about to unsheathe the sword, it give the figure a certain amount of movement.

Figure completed

There is so much detail to this figure she looks great from any angle.

Close-up shots

I got a bit carried away here in my attempt to convey how intricate the detail is.

Here she is on display

Nice review and shots there :) I’m also looking for this figure and the Seena Kanon (http://kyvarn.com/2010/01/17-seena-kanon-pvc). But I can’t find them anywhere that’s in a good price.

Can you suggest a good trading post for figures or any online shops that still has either or both of the figures? Thank you ^-^

I just checked amazon.jp and they have a couple new and second hand available. Failing that Alter sometimes re-release figurines.
